Privacy Policy

Kung Tycoon is a cozy pixel shrimp-farming game. Right now the site is a waitlist. We collect as little as we can, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store only what you give us for the method you choose:
- Google sign-in: your email address and a Google account ID. We don't get your password, contacts or anything else from Google.
- Email link: your email address.
- Wallet: your public wallet address, and whether you signed a free message proving you own it. We never ask for a seed phrase and never send a transaction.
- X handle: the handle you type in.
We also keep the date you joined, which link brought you here (for example ?ref=), your browser type, and a one-way hash of your IP address to stop spam sign-ups. We can't turn that hash back into your IP.
How we use it
- To keep your spot on the waitlist and show your farmer number.
- To email you about Kung Tycoon: sign-in links, a welcome note, and news like the alpha opening. Every news email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- To block bots and duplicate sign-ups.
We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who helps us run the site
A few services process data for us, only to run Kung Tycoon:
- Supabase stores the waitlist and handles sign-in (servers in Singapore).
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Google handles "Continue with Google" if you use it.
- WalletConnect (Reown) connects mobile wallets if you use one.
Cookies and storage
We use only what the site needs: a sign-in cookie if you sign in, and your sound and day/night settings saved in your browser. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from news emails with the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing hello@kungtycoon.com. We'll do it within 30 days.
We keep waitlist data until the game launches or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first, unless you go on to create a game account.
Kids
Kung Tycoon is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for big changes we'll tell waitlist members by email.
